I’m afraid this BSOD is copyright Microsoft corporation 2007. All rights reserved (yes, that’s right: you are not allowed to create or modify a BSOD unless you are working for (or authorised by) Microsoft corporation.) (and yes: it did take me at least 3 edits to get the alt text working, thanks to blogger’s mangling of HTML in both email posts and its text editor (click “preview” for instant mangling))
In other news, I can’t get gutsy to install under Qemu. It says it can’t recognise my CD drive (despite having booted from it). Reminds me of what happens when you try installing windows using a SATA CDROM drive. You’d think that virtual machines would be the *first* thing you run an operating system on, surely?
It’s a bit difficult to spot the word right at the end of the line, so I’ve made it a bit clearer:
