Eeek. Which component? If just the video card, you’re probably OK to just replace it… if it was anything directly on the mobo, you’re probably fucked to the tune of some hundreds of pounds…If you don’t know which component it was, same. :S

Motherboards like the one I have are £50-100. Video cards are £90-200… or they were when I bought mine.
If it *had* been the motherboard, I would have been pleased, because I might have been able to get one that’s slightly less shit.
